OESP thanks all that have participated in Care to Ride in the past – both sponsors and participants.
Once again, we they will be using GoFundMe to help you seek donations and to help you manage your campaign. Those donating can do so directly by credit card, relieving the burden of collecting money and submitting it to Oil Heat Cares.
This year, GoFundMe has made some changes to the way they are functioning. In order to be set up as part of the Care To Ride fundraiser, please email lstrug@thinkoesp.org to get started. If you are interested in multiple people participating on the same “team,” everyone will need to participate using the same email address. So choose one person to be your team leader and all of the funds raised will show under that person on the Care to Ride 2022 – Ride for Ralph GoFundme page.
A minimum pledge of $100 by all individual participants and $600 for a team is required. OESP encourages you to enlist the support of friends, family and co-workers, or you may pay the fee on your own. You can ride a motorcycle, bicycle, walk or run, all for a good cause – raising funds for our neighbors in need.
The Annual Care to Ride fundraiser has set a goal of $25,000. You can raise money individually or sign up as a team and share that link with your team members.
Once you are set up, you’ll get an email from GoFundMe that you’re set and ready to go.
