Seitron Americas has introduced a new Be Cool product line of AC/refrigeration testing instruments. The four devices in the innovative series—the M4 Digital Manifold, B100 Refrigerant Scale, R1 Refrigerant Leak Detector and V1 Smart Vacuum Gauge—utilize the latest technology available to assist HVAC technicians in detecting and preventing costly leaks.
Last week, we showed you the highlights of the M4 Digital Manifold and the B100 Refrigerant Scale. Now let’s take a closer look at the two other new innovative tools: the R1 Refrigerant Leak Detector and V1 Smart Vacuum Gauge.
The R1 Refrigerant Leak Detector can reliably detect all common refrigerants thanks to its heated diode sensor. Different sensitivity levels allow the user to detect the smallest leaks, with indication on the display or with an alarm.

The V1 Smart Vacuum Gauge has rechargeable batteries, allowing the user to measure the vacuum of refrigeration systems and heat pumps in a precise and easy way.
The V1 gauge can be monitored through the Seitron be cool mobile app, which also enables users to transmit data in real time.
