The National Association for Oil & Energy Service Professionals (OESP) is accepting candidates for their 2015 awards, to be honored in an awards banquet at the 61st Annual Trade Show & Convention in Hershey, PA May 17-21.
Awards include the Hugh McKee Award, Lou Ehrich Award, Service Manager of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year and Instructor of the Year. Applications in the form of a well-documented resume of an individual or company’s contributions to the industry can be submitted to Judy Garber (jgarber@thinkoesp.org) by April 1.
“In order to nominate your candidate for consideration by committee, you’ll need to put together a basic ‘story’ about the individual or company,” said OESP in a release. “That story needs to include what they have done for the industry and community and, what have they done in the way of supporting education of our members. Keep it simple but give the committee a good idea of the person or companies qualities.”
Judges appointed to select the winners include George Perrelli and George McQueeney, New Haven Chapter; Rosemarie Bartchak, Lehigh Valley Chapter; Paul Cuprewich, Garden State Chapter; Charlie Bursey, R.I. Chapter; and Bob Daros, Westchester Chapter.
The awards banquet, set for the evening of Tuesday, May 19th, will also include a presentation of scholarships and a special recognition and celebration of executive director Judy Garber in her final OESP convention.
