General Filters, Inc., manufacturer of indoor air quality products and fuel oil filters under brands such as GeneralAire and Gar-Ber, announced the appointment of Bob Abraham as the company’s new President & CEO, effective immediately.
“For over 75 years, the position of President has been held by one of the owners of General Filters, Inc. While this has served the company well, it is time for the company to try new ideas and a new approach to business”, said third-generation President, Carl Redner.
Abraham previously served as CFO of Virginia Tile Company and, before that, CFO of Allied Metals Corp. He has also been a city councilman in Dearborn, MI since 2002.
