Cetane Associates LLC announced that HOP Energy, LLC of White Plains, NY has acquired the assets of Cernak Fuel Corp. of Easthampton, MA. Cetane Associates, LLC served as the sole arranger and financial advisor to the seller.
Cernak Fuel Corp. is a well-known, long established marketer of heating oil, kerosene, and diesel fuel to residential and small commercial customers throughout Central Massachusetts. All of Cernak’s employees will continue to work from the existing office in Eastampton.
HOP Energy is a large Northeast supplier of propane, heating oil, motor fuels and home services. The Cernak Fuel acquisition marks HOP’s 50th acquisition since its founding in the mid 1990’s
