Rhoads Energy plans to buy four divisions of now defunct Worley & Obetz under an agreement approved September 18 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, according to Lancaster Online. The settlement, scheduled for Sept. 25, would include Worley & Obetz’s propane business, HVAC installation and maintenance business, Amerigreen residential and commercial natural-gas business and Amerigreen wholesale propane business. Former Worley & Obetz customers who sign up with Rhoads can expect service to resume next week, following the settlement, according to Lancaster Online. Former customers can also visit rhoadsenergy.com. Diesel Direct, who won a bankruptcy-court auction for nearly all of the Worley & Obetz assets for $10.7 million earlier this week, will sell the four divisions to Rhoads for an undisclosed sum. Former Worley & Obetz employees are encouraged to contact Rhoads about job opportunities.
