The NPGA Southeastern Propane Expo, scheduled for April 5-8 in Nashville, TN, has been cancelled.
Message from Steve Kaminski, NPGA President & CEO:
“As noted yesterday, I promised absolute transparency in NPGA decision making regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the NPGA Southeastern Convention & International Propane EXPO (Expo). This afternoon, the President of the United States declared a national emergency around COVID-19. Following our U.S. President’s advice, NPGA is officially cancelling the Southeastern Convention & International Propane EXPO, scheduled for Nashville, TN, April 5-8.
This decision was made unanimously by me, each of NPGA’s officers, and the Chair of NPGA’s Convention Committee.
I wanted to provide this information as soon as possible. Therefore, the message does not include next steps, either as pertains to the cancellation details as it relates to your registration or exhibition or any potential rescheduling. Additional information will be coming from NPGA as soon as developed – we are working 24/7 on it. Please look for more information next week.
We thank you for your continued patience.
On another note, for informational purposes, see guidance for propane marketers related to COVID-19. The guidance is not a legal document or legal advice, but we are hopeful it will be helpful to you in your own decision making regarding next steps and the COVID-19 outbreak. Our goal is to continue to provide useful information to your businesses.”
