The Berks-Schuylkill Oil Heat Association (BSOHA) in Pennsylvania donated a total of $5,220 to the Berks and Schuylkill County Salvation Army on Feb. 20. Since 2006, BSOHA’s annual charitable donations have totaled $70,000 to help local residents with the heating needs.
Donations to the fundraiser came from R.W. Beckett Corp., Boston Environmental, Buckeye Energy Services, Delaware Valley Fuel Dealers Association., Elite Fuel Services LLC, F.M. Brown’s Sons Inc., H.B. Steele & Son Inc., Hafer Petroleum, Jack Rich Inc., Lucknow-Highspire Terminals, LLC, Pennsylvania Petroleum Association, Santilli Oil Co. Inc. and Talley Petroleum Enterprises.
“We are very pleased to make this donation to the Salvation Army,” said Kevin Steele, BSOHA President. “I am amazed every year the generosity our member dealers put forth for this effort. Our membership has always been willing to step up and help those less fortunate. To reach $70,000 in donations is truly remarkable.”
