General Filters, Inc. announced its subsidiary Canadian General Filters, Ltd. (CGF) has acquired Desert Spring – ECO Products for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition was finalized early September. Assets and manufacturing moved to the Canadian General Filters (CGF) facilities.
“As we welcome the Desert Spring products into the Canadian General Filters, Ltd. family, we believe that their expertise in the humidification market will greatly contribute to the expansion of our product offerings and provide a continued competitive edge in the indoor air quality sector,” said CGF President Allen Haybarger. “Products will be branded GeneralAire® and offered in our Canadian markets, where water conservation is a key differentiator in humidifier selection.”
Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Desert Spring offers humidification equipment for residential applications.
