Danfoss has entered into a long-term agreement with Carrier Global Corp. and has joined the Carrier Alliance program. Danfoss will supply compressors, valves, heat exchangers and drives across Carrier’s HVAC and Refrigeration portfolios and Carrier will supply Danfoss with Carrier-branded replacement compressors.
This builds on a prior collaboration in which Danfoss provided R32 refrigerant for Carrier’s AquaSnap scroll chiller and heat pump portfolio in Europe, reducing direct greenhouse gas emissions by up to 77%. Terms of the deal were not revealed.
