Organizers for the 2017 Eastern Energy Expo, taking place May 21-25 in Hershey, PA announced the keynote speaker will be Tom Kloza, Co-Founder and Global Head of Energy Analysis for the Oil Price Information Service.
The Eastern Energy Expo, co-sponsored by the Oil and Energy Service Professionals, the Atlantic Region Energy Expo and the Pennsylvania Petroleum Association, is the industry’s signature annual event.
The week of the conference coincides with the first 120 days of the Trump Administration. Kloza is expected to look at the implications of the President’s energy policies for the petroleum industry.
He will address how supply could be affected by allowing more drilling on federal lands and allowing the Keystone and Dakota pipelines to be completed. Kloza will also discuss how refined products will be impacted by potential changes to the Renewable Fuel Standard.
Other important questions to be addressed: Will President Trump endorse Congressional efforts at imposing a border tax, and how might that be applied to imported petroleum products? Will exported products, including natural gas, benefit from this policy and increase prices and production? Will increased economic activity and job creation create more energy demand and higher prices?
There is likely no one better positioned to tackle these issues than Kloza, who has been closely following the most recent industry developments.
Kloza has covered the oil business for more than 40 years. He is a regular guest on all of the business shows and has clocked more than 250 personal appearances on network and major cable TV.
Kloza sits on the Board of Advisers for the Fuels’ Institute and is generally regarded as one of the most objective non-biased experts on North American fuel supply and pricing.
It is not too late for your company to play a big role in the EEE.
ADD Systems, Beckett and Federated Insurance are the Expo sponsors of the conference. This year’s Diamond Sponsors are: Angus Energy; Buckeye Energy Services; Gulf Oil; Renewable Energy Group; Sunoco, LLP; Valero Marketing and Supply. There are still some open sponsorship opportunities, in which companies can have their logo on official conference signage, as well as print ads, web ads, complimentary conference registrations, branded e-blasts and exhibitor booths.
Conference organizers are planning for more than 4,000 attendees at the premier trade show for the energy and comfort industries. Exhibitors are now reserving their booths for the two-day trade show on May 23-24, showcasing all the latest products and services for the petroleum marketing and HVAC industry.
There will be more than 250 exhibits as well as a full schedule of technical and business sessions.
