Wilo USA Appoints Director of Operations
Wilo USA has announced that Chris Perkins will assume the role of Director of Operations at Wilo’s manufacturing facility in Thomasville, GA.
Mark D’Agostino, President and CEO of Wilo USA, said the appointment is a good example of the company’s commitment to “…elevate team members within the organization when those opportunities arise.”
Perkins has previously held the positions of Segments Manager, and Customer Service Manager at Wilo USA. Prior to Wilo USA, he held the position of SubTech Manager at Wilo U.K.
Wilo USA’s corporate headquarters are located in Rosemont, IL, with a 60,000- square-foot manufacturing facility located in Thomasville, GA.

WESROC® introduces hydrostatic pressure tank monitoring
Independent Technologies’ WESROC Remote Monitoring System has announced its Cellular Units can measure tank levels employing Hydrostatic Pressure Sensors in any liquid in vertical tanks up to 60 feet tall.
The pressure sensors can be installed inside or on the outside of tanks and automatically adjust for atmospheric pressure variations. An internal battery of the Cellular Unit powers the entire system and is expected to offer five year battery life with daily reporting and alerts. The company says its Satellite Monitors can also be used with the Hydrostatic Pressure Units.
Sr. ECR marketing rep relocates
Senior Marketing Representative for ECR, Carolyn Kuczynski, relocated to North Carolina this June and tendered her resignation. She has been an employee with ECR since 1999, most recently focusing her efforts on updating ECR’s marketing materials and improving the look and feel of ECR brands.
She will be staying with the company as a contract employee working remotely from her home in North Carolina. Some of her functions and responsibilities will be transferred to others in the Marketing Department; Kuczynski will continue to execute many of the duties she has been doing while serving as Senior Marketing Representative, and her email will remain the same as will her current office phone extension.
OESP offers Dan Holohan’s Dead Men’s Steam School
The National Association of Oil & Energy Service Professionals (OESP) is sponsoring Dan Holohan’s Dead Men’s Steam School seminar on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Holiday Inn in Timonium, MD.
The all-technical seminar will cover many types of old steam heating systems and what goes wrong with them. The class is especially useful for those working with America’s older steam systems. Holohan will cover all types of steam issues from steam heating loads, pressure settings, steam traps, balancing systems with properly sized air vents, curing water hammer once and for all, and is expected to lace the technical data with a many anecdotes and stories, a hallmark of his popular presentations.
