For the 16th year in a row, Johnson Controls has been named a 100 Best Corporate Citizen for 2021 by 3BL Media. The award recognizes environmental, social and governance (ESG) transparency and performance across the 1,000 largest U.S. public companies.
Johnson Controls has committed to achieving net-zero carbon before 2040, and announced science-based targets for 2030. It also aims to slash its operational emissions by 55% and reduce customers’ emissions by 16% in absolute terms before 2030.
