The NYPGA spring conference, previously scheduled for March 23-24 at the Desmond Hotel in Albany, NY, has been postponed to June 22-23 at the Allegria Beach Resort in Long Beach, NY. The spring conference is historically their annual meeting, a necessity according to NYPGA Bylaws, including elections and other important Association business. Thus, there will be a conference call on 3/24 to announce election results.
If you have registered for Spring Conference, you are now registered for Summer Conference – NYPGA will contact you separately to remind you. If not, Summer Conference registration will be online in the coming days. NYPGA will also have full details very shortly for room reservations, which are currently abundant but predictably limited. For your own planning, NYPGA has been offered the same conference room rate for the three days prior and after the event should you care for some well-deserved vacation time on the beach. More details in the coming days on this.
The Desmond agreed to return 100% of NYPGA’s deposit even prior to our President’s Declaration of National Emergency on Friday of last week; additionally, NYPGA has agreed to schedule their 2021 Spring Conference at The Desmond.
