OESP 2025 scholarship applications are open

Oil & Energy Service Professionals (OESP) announced that applications are now open for the organization’s 2025 scholarships.

OESP is offering five different scholarship categories:

  • Dave Nelsen Scholarship: A minimum of three $5,000 scholarships will be awarded at the Eastern Energy Expo in May 2024. All applications are due March 10, 2025.
  • Dave Nelsen Student Certification Scholarship: OESP will be offering scholarship to technical students seeking certifications for qualifying education up to a maximum of $2,000. A maximum of five grants will be awarded per year. Student Certification Scholarships are rolling.
  • Dan Holohan Instructor’s Grant: Any HVACR instructor is eligible for grant money, which may be used for classroom materials or equipment, or specialized training that is not paid or reimbursed by the school. Other requests may be considered.
  • Dave Nelsen Technician Scholarship: OESP will be offering scholarship to technicians for qualifying education up to a maximum of $2,000. Technician scholarships are rolling.
  • OESP Family College Scholarship: OESP will be offering five $2,000 college scholarships each year to family members of members in good standing for an accredited two- or four-year college. All applications are due March 10, 2025.
