OESP, the National Association of Oil & Energy Service Professionals, recently celebrated its 60th anniversary. Formerly the National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers—NAOHSM—the group was founded in 1953 in New York. A story appeared in this magazine in the April 1953 edition about the new organization. Back then, we were called Fueloil & Oil Heat.
