Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. created a charitable giving arrangement, through its SuburbanCares platform, with Aurelio’s Pizza to deliver 1,000 meals to front line health care workers on May 12 and 13 at local hospital in Chicago, as part of National Nurse Appreciation Week. The meals include a personal pizza.
“Chicago has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a New Jersey-based company, another major hot-spot for the virus, we at Suburban Propane can certainly empathize with what the Chicago health care workers are facing,” said Nandini Sankara, Spokesperson for Suburban Propane. “We are incredibly honored to join forces with Aurelio’s Pizza, a legendary Chicago institution, to help support those healthcare heroes on the front line, particularly during National Nurses Appreciation Week.”
SuburbanCares also recently partnered with Papa John’s Pizza to provide pizzas to health care workers at MedStar Health Hospitals in Maryland and Washington, DC; and with Chick-fil-A to provide meals to front line workers at Crouse Health in Syracuse, NY.
